HEATER WITH THERMOSTAT 2000W 5/4" TO THE BOILER - KNOB (GB01.2054G85)
Electric heating element with a thermostat for capacitive water heaters is intended to heat water for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) and Central Heating System (CH). It can be installed in any tank (with the exception of those made of stainless steel) which design (structure and dimensions) allows its installation.
The device consists of a 2000W heating element, an electronic thermostat that provides regulation of the temperature of the water in the tank, and a power cord with a universal plug. The illumination of the indicator LED, indicates the operation of the heater.
- DHW storage tanks,
- Central heating buffer tanks,
- As additional heating element for radiators and other heating appliances.
The heater must be installed in accordance with applicable regulations, standards and manufacturer's recommendations. Any improper and incompatible use is prohibited.
Exploitation not in accordance with the instructions and the performance of repairs by persons not authorized to do so may cause failure and void the warranty.
The heating module can be installed in both horizontal and vertical tanks, the design of which takes into account the possibility of installing the heating module and spaces where the temperature is not lower than 0ºC and higher than 50ºC;
- The design of the tank should allow the heating element to be installed in the tank without collision;
- The heating element must not touch the internal parts of the tank;
- The diameter of the connection spigot, should be in accordance with the dimensions of the thread of the heating module (it is permissible to use reductions);
- The depth (length) of the connection spigot (socket), must be shorter than the length of the dead zone of the heating module (50mm);
- Install in the lower or middle part of the tank in a horizontal or vertical position (heating element upwards) in the place designated by the tank manufacturer;
- The sensor tube must not come into contact with the heating element (recommended distance of about 10 mm).
Detailed information on installation and use can be found in the user manual.
- The heater should be sealed with tow (recommended) or other available sealing compounds for the installation site;
- In the case of horizontal installation, the correct position of the heater is when the connection wire comes out of the housing downwards;
- After installing the heater, fill the tank with water and vent the installation. In order to avoid corrosion of the heater plug, vent the coupler (loosen the heater slightly so that the air comes out of the coupler in which the heater is installed, and then tighten the heater);
- To extend the life of the heater, it is recommended to install a magnesium anode.
- Do not switch on without water - the necessary condition for proper and long-term operation of the heater is complete immersion of the heating element in water (make sure that the tank into which the heater is installed is completely filled with water and the entire heating element is immersed in it);
- It is advisable to check the operation of the device periodically and check the correctness of the operation of the heater and the plug with a protective pin;
- If the electric heater is not used for a long period of time, disconnect the power supply by removing the plug from the power socket.
Detailed information on installation and use can be found in the user manual.
